Crossing to Scotland in the Catskills takes you on a wonderful journey exploring the music and history of the British Isles and the relationship to American traditional music.  Through her CDs, Music Books and legacy, it is as if Abby Newton opens up a portal through the standing stones to the heart and soul of Celtic music.  Students and listeners can experience strathspeys, jigs, reels, and slow airs in performances and Ceilidhs, and through cello retreats, workshops, zoom and in-person private instruction.
